Design Internship
Reports To: Graphic Designer
We'll help YOU grow through challenge and responsibility as you help us grow our fun, profitable, secure and dynamic business focusing on the needs of students in higher education at our convenient Boston location minutes from South Station. Our casual environment is a great place to generate your creative ideas on exciting new projects working with a diverse and exceptionally talented team. You will learn new skills and refine your existing ones. You can look forward to in depth exposure in marketing, creative development, affiliate acquisition and retention, customer acquisition and retention, direct sales and account management.

  • Print Layout & Design
  • Proof Reading
  • Web Layout & Design
  • Brand Management
  • Typography
  • Timeline Management
  • Project Management
Essential Duties Include:
  • Utilize QuarkXpress layout templates and produce direct mail letters, envelopes and order forms
  • Regularly develop on-line marketing campaigns including banners and various graphics
  • Assist with updating existing off line marketing initiatives, such as University Marketing materials
  • Support studentadvantage.com maintenance by developing and resizing graphics
  • Manage overall logo database, archive and graphic standard folders
  • Support the development and implementation of Cardholder acquisition and retention initiatives
  • General office duties
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
  • Ability to work 28 to 30 hours per week
  • Experience with QuarkXpress, Photoshop, or other graphic layout programs (Mac platform only)
  • Experience with Illustrator, Excel, InDesign, and Word a plus (Mac platform only)
  • Ability to multi-task and strong communication skills a must
Education and/or Experience:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Experience or educational background in communication arts, marketing, or design
  • 1 or more years of college
